The Edgewood Bark Park is a ministry of Edgewood Church. It is open and free to all in our community!
For the safety and enjoyment of all dogs and their humans, we ask everyone to abide by the below guidelines when using our dog park. And... read below for how you can help us keep this valuable asset in our community!
Bark Park Guidelines
- Always be kind and respectful to others and their pets.
- You are personally responsible for your own behavior and that of your dog(s). Owners should stay in the dog park (fenced area/adjacent parking lot only) and supervise their collared dog with a leash readily available.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times and should NOT approach any dog without permission from owner. Extra caution should be used if you bring small children in the park.
- Dogs must be current on shots (rabies/DHLPP).
- Please clean up dog waste and dispose of in the provided receptacle.
- Please keep your dog(s) leashed until you get into the double gates and exiting for their safety; and make sure both gates are closed properly.
- Owners must immediately leash dogs showing aggressive behavior towards people or other dogs.
- Food and drink are not allowed in the park, but feel free to use the picnic tables outside the park and include cleanup. Water buckets and water are supplied on the grounds for dogs. When using hose water, make sure it is turned off when you are finished.
- No alcohol, vaping, drug usage, smoking, or use of fireworks is allowed on the property.
- The dog park is open from dawn to dusk most days. It is still open on Sunday mornings between 10 and 11 am during our church service, which you are more than welcome to attend. Our service offers a relevant biblical message and contemporary, live band.
- From time to time, the park may be closed for church events, which you are welcome to attend. For your safety, the park is also closed when the grass is being mowed or treated for fire ants.
- The park will not be used to promote any religious beliefs or philosophies that are contrary to those of Edgewood Church.
- Permission is needed before selling items on church property, including the Bark Park.
For safety, during the Greyhounds' Saturday meetups (10:45-12:15) only muzzled greyhounds are allowed in the large park area during the posted time. This information is on the park Edgewood Bark Park Facebook page and posted at the park. Please respect these times and plan your visits accordingly. Other dogs may make use of the small dog park during this time.
Everyone is welcome, but we do reserve the right to ban any individual(s) who choose(s) not to follow these guidelines.
**Edgewood Church is not responsible for any incidents that may occur on the grounds. Owners are legally and financially responsible for themselves and their pet(s).**

Although we love making this asset available to our community at no charge, it is not free to operate! Donations are always welcome and appreciated to help with park expenses.
